can you explain which pics on which pages you are talking about? people are upvoting this but we asked for more detail two days ago and nobody has bothered to actually reply.

as i posted on the site, this kind of "feedback" is not very helpful:


Guys! if you don't like something about the new site or something isn't working well, you need to tell us about it in as much detail as you can.

-On desktop, if it's working properly, it is almost exactly the same as it was before. It's hard to even spot any differences.

-On mobile, depending on the size of your screen, the menu gets compacted for easier viewing and the content area fills up the screen so you see more of what matters without needing to zoom in.

So if you have a problem with the new site, start by telling us what device you are using and if possible what browser. Then tell us in detail what the issue is. If you don't like something, explain what exactly you don't like. If there is a bug, explain the bug (and better yet email us a screenshot). Simply saying "I don't like it, change it back" is not very helpful. :/

as talked about on the site, the site really shouldn't be slower. it should be faster. the desktop site and the mobile site are one and the same, the layout just adjusts to fit smaller screens better automatically.

even if it was possible to force it to display the bigger layout version (ie the desktop "version") on mobile, that would only mean more of the menu to load, as well as some other things. that would not make the site load faster or be less cumbersome, it would be the opposite.

Update: we have now enabled zooming on all pages!

you can still do it on the full image page. we are looking into changing this everywhere though.

looks like your post got cut off, the original finished with: "but I can't open the site navigation on my iPod. Other than that it's great."

thanks for the comment, the random thumbs at the top do appear distorted on some resolutions and we'll have to fix that up.

in regards to the site navigation not opening, do you know what version iOS you are running on your iPod?

the video player hasn't actually changed, on the desktop or on mobile.

what device are you using?

yes. this happens on full image pages (which random photos automatically lgo to). we are looking into it and will probably change it to work so that it fits the page. though then on mobiles there will be almost no difference between the regular image page and the full image page.

what is confusing about it?
